#aquietstyle January Favourite

Today I have some unexpected spare time, a change of plans has meant that I can keep my promise of last month to publish my overall #aquietstyle favourite for January here on the blog. But before I do, I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who commented on my last post, I have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of total strangers in contacting me with their kind words. It hasn't been easy stepping away from the blog, I do miss it but it is what is needed right now. As I said before I will still pop back from time to time when I can, without the pressure I put myself under. Just like today!

So here it is, my favourite for January, this photo by @toile_blanche jumped out at me, it is so incredibly peaceful. I love the way that a composition you see fairly regularly on Instagram, has been given a different feel, I'm not sure what it is; perhaps the light, or the dress, the downward glance, whatever it is, it is rather beautiful. Thank you for sharing Mai, and if you are a flower lover like me, I highly recommend you check out Mai's feed, it is pretty special.
