Friday Fashion

Hello, I'm back with another outfit post. It feels a bit strange posting this today, as it has actually been hot, but when I took these photos a couple of days ago, it was cold and wet, a typical Spring week! I thought it might be nice to show an outfit which doesn't include a pair of jeans, and, because I have to blog around Dottie, I have to take whatever opportunity I get for photography. I have always been interested in fashion, as a child I used to sketch my own collections, but I guess you would say, I am typically a classic dresser, and this look defines that. So, what am I wearing, a pair of cropped (ish) trousers, I don't want to scare the general public by showing much of my body these days, but I think a bit of ankle is probably bearable! A great shaped top from American Vintage, a favourite of mine, I love their brilliant basics. The jacket is quite old, but I like it with this outfit and I think if you buy reasonably classic clothes, they never date that much anyway. The espadrilles are a fairly recent purchase, I love the ethos behind Toms, for every pair of shoes purchased, they give a pair of new shoes to a child in need, you can read more on their website.
