Styling the Seasons - December
I didn't think I was going to have time for a Styling the Seasons post this month, things are so busy right now. So much for being organised for Christmas this year! But yesterday when I was tidying up from another photo shoot, I realised I could squeeze a bit of seasonal styling in before the school run.
As always I gathered a few relevant items together for a bit of inspiration, believe me there was plenty lying around (mainly in a heap on the floor)!
Without thinking I popped some rosehips on the chair to get them out the way, and when I looked behind me, the placement and colouring against the wallpaper gave me the starting point.
I know it isn't the first time I've put something on the wall, but I like to break up the pattern occasionally, and a couple of rosemary wreaths strung on some simple string did the trick.
Next the table; I could have created a little scene, like this one:
But actually, true to form, I decided simple was the way to go, a few small springs of rosehips in an earthenware vase were all it needed.
Which do you prefer?
Have a great weekend.
