Interiors - My Dining Room

I felt very honoured recently to be asked by Melanie who writes the fantastic blog Geoffrey & Grace, if I would like to be included in her rooms feature.  I love Melanie's blog, I'm not sure what it is about it; her lovely regular features, her gorgeous makes or perhaps it is the weekly photos of her sweet daughter, I can't really put my finger on it, but there is an honesty to it which I really enjoy. The Geoffrey & Grace rooms feature gives a glimpse into a favourite room and therefore a bit more insight into its owner.  I chose to share my dining room with Melanie, below are a few of the photos I took, but you can find out more if you pop over to Geoffrey & Grace, including why it's my favourite room, what I like to do in it (and it's not just eat!), and what makes some of the bits on display so special.

I don't know about you, but I love a nose round other people's houses, it is so fascinating to get a true picture of people's tastes and how they live.  Is my dining room what you expected? Although it was the last room to be finished, it has been a few years now since we originally renovated the house, and even though it has evolved over time, I am starting to get a teeny weeny bit bored of how the whole house looks (shhh don't tell my husband), so you never know I might show you a completely different dining room sometime in the future!
